Ibrahim Tanko, head coach for Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club has revealed how important it is to have former German star Lothar Matthäus as a club partner.
According to him, it’s a good thing for the club to have a world football legend like Lothar Matthäus to join the Ghanaian top-flight.
He says the club’s partnership with the 1991 World Player of the Year award is a huge thing for the club because of the mileage the team is gaining in Germany.
“It’s a good thing for us to have a world football legend like Lothar Mathaus to join the Accra Lions family.”
“His partnership with us is huge because when you go into the German newspapers it is unbelievable.”
“We hope to give him the quality that propelled him to join us. We welcome him and hope we achieve great things with him” he said.
