Ghana international Ibrahim Osman has opened up on why he joined Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion, turning down offers from other clubs, and revealed that he believes the team is a “hub to nurture talents”.
Osman, who sealed a move to Brighton during the January transfer window, had to complete the season with Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland before making the switch.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate has been impressing with his performances, earning him a lucrative move to the Premier League side.
The 20-year-old winger explained that he was drawn to Brighton’s style of play, saying, “I have been watching Brighton for quite a long time, and I believe they have the same style of play as FC Nordsjaelland.”
He added that he thinks the club is a great place for him to develop his skills and achieve success.
“I think it’s a hub to nurture talents, and that’s why I chose Brighton ahead of other clubs.”
Osman made his debut for the Black Stars in March and is now excited about his new chapter at Brighton. He said, “I’m looking forward to learning and growing as a player.” The youngster is set to feature in the Premier League in the upcoming campaign and is eager to get started.
Osman’s pre-season with Brighton begins on July 21, and he can’t wait to meet his new teammates and coaches. “I’m excited to meet my new teammates and coaches,” he said. “I’m ready to give my best and help the team achieve success.”
