Berekum Chelsea captain Zakaria Fuseini has expressed satisfaction with his team’s goalless draw against Vision FC, describing it as a positive start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Fuseini, a former Ghana U23 defender, played a key role in the match, which saw Berekum Chelsea hold the newly promoted Vision FC to a 0-0 stalemate at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

The first half was a balanced affair, with both teams effectively neutralizing each other’s attacks, resulting in no goals. The second half followed a similar pattern, and despite efforts from both sides, the match ended in a goalless draw.

“It’s a very good start to the season, getting a point away from home,” Fuseini told Footballghana.com.

Berekum Chelsea now looks ahead to their next fixture, where they will host Karela United. The Bibires will aim to secure their first win of the season in the upcoming weekend clash.
