Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang has expressed his excitement at the opportunity to face Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
Agyemang, who took charge of the newly promoted side at the start of the season, described playing against the Phobians as a significant moment in his career, especially considering it is his first top-flight coaching job.
Vision FC is set to visit Hearts of Oak for their round 10 encounter at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday at 7 PM.
Ahead of the match, Agyemang shared his thoughts on the upcoming fixture, noting that it is a game his players are particularly looking forward to.
“It’s going to be a very interesting game. Accra Hearts of Oak is a traditional club that everyone would love to play against,” Agyemang said. “For me, it’s an honor to play them at this point in my career.”
Agyemang is confident his team is ready for the challenge, adding, “We are looking forward to the game, and we hope to go there and pick up three points. If you’re going to play Hearts of Oak, nothing should motivate you more than the chance to face them.”
Currently, Hearts of Oak sit 8th on the league table, while Vision FC occupies 11th place.
