Is Marcel Koller being real or he’s just playing mind games? Lamine Ndiaye has the experience and the technical know-how to handle such beautiful words.
“It’s still 50-50 for both teams,” said the Swiss manager Marcell Koller in the pre-match conference on Thursday. Is Al Ahly just being careful with the threat TP Mazembe poses especially in the attack or they are just flattering them?
“I believe that with the support of our fans tomorrow, we can achieve another Champions League final,” added Koller.
Rami Rabia in the pre-match conference revealed that he is certain that Al Ahly fans’ presence will push them to the finals. His head coach Marcel Koller shared the same idea with Rabia as he also believes Al Ahly fans will steer them to the finals once again.
The Red Devils drew a goalless draw in Lubumbashi last Saturday and they were far behind their best. Koller just blamed the weather as Lubumbashi was very hot. He also bemoaned the quality of the pitch in DR Congo and also missed key players like El Shenaawy, Antony Modeste and Emam Ashour.
“Things were very difficult for us in the first leg in Lubumbashi. The sun was too hot, we missed some key players and also the playing field was terrible,” said Koller.
“I am happy Percy Tau is back but some other players will be back from injury too and the final training session today will determine it.”
South African superstar Tau played just 45 minutes in the first leg of the semi-finals in DR Congo. Al Ahly’s head coach expressed his delight in the forward’s availability as he is declared fit to face TP Mazembe on Friday night.
