Newly signed Beitar Jerusalem striker, Richmond Boakye Yiadom has revealed that he has always been dreamed of visiting the European country, Israel since his childhood.
According to Boakye, Israel has always been one of the most lovely country and has always longed to pay a visit to the ‘Godly’ state.
The former Juventus player signed a one year deal with the Yellow and Blacks after leaving Gornik Zabrze in Poland.
Boakye told the official website after landing: “I feel very good, I wanted to visit Israel and be there for many, many years. It’s a beautiful place. I’m glad it’s happening now too. I’m happy to come to a club like Betar Jerusalem, it’s a great privilege and I heard about the place is from teammates and team members Derek Boateng. He told me about the club so I’m very happy to be here.
Boakye arrived on Monday in Israel and has since been isolated due to the restrictions in the country.
