Hearts of Oak defender James Sewonu joins Samartex on loan

Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Samartex FC have signed Hearts of Oak defender James Sewornu on loan.

Sportsworldghana.com understands that the technical team of the “Timber” led by Annor Walker requested for his services and they have acquired him on a one-year loan.

Sewonu, 23, was a key player for the Phobians two seasons ago before injuries stalled his progress.

He signed a new four-year contract with Hearts of Oak over the weekend before going on loan.
