The Dutch-born Ghanaian forward scored his first Serie A goal to help Como 1907 to a comeback victory against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
The winger, who was making his second Serie A appearance for the club, climbed off to the bench to make a huge impact after replacing Nicolas Gerrit Kuhn in the 61st minute. Addai received a pass from Nico Paz before twisting and turning his marker, and firing with his right foot to beat former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
The hosts had taken an early lead through Rolando Mandragora in the first half but Como responded after the hour mark through Marc-Oliver Kempf, who rose high to head home from a Nico Paz freekick.
In between the two goals was a penalty for Como which was over-turned by the video assistant referee.
Addai was named Man of the Match following his game-winning performance.
Despite being born in the Netherlands, Addai remains eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
