Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp recorded his 21st Premier League goal in their away game against Burnley on Saturday.
Schlupp opened the scoring over the weekend with a simple tap-in after Jordan Ayew had intercepted the ball from a Burnley defender in the first half of the game.
The 32-year-old raced into the box after stealing the ball before teeing up his countryman for the game’s opening goal.
Schlupp’s strike meant that he has now scored 21 goals in the English top flight since his debut in the competition.
The Ghanaian has enjoyed spells with Leicester City and Palace all in the competitions.
With 21 goals, only two Ghanaians have scored more in the competition than Schlupp, Jordan Ayew (34) and Anthony Yeboah (24). He is joint in that position with Andre Ayew who also has 21 goals from 102 appearances.
