Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp showcased his skills with an assist during Crystal Palace’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.
Despite Schlupp’s contribution, the Cityzens emerged victorious with a 4-2 win, maintaining their title aspirations.
Palace took the lead early on, courtesy of Jean-Philippe Mateta’s strike, but Manchester City quickly equalized through Kevin De Bruyne’s spectacular goal.
After the break, Man City seized control, with Rico Lewis, Erling Haaland, and Kelvin De Bruyne finding the net to secure the win.
Although the defeat was disappointing for Oliver Glasner’s Palace, they managed to salvage a late consolation goal through Odsonne Édouard, assisted by Jeffrey Schlupp, who came on as a substitute in the 64th minute.
Schlupp has been a key figure for Palace this season, featuring in 23 Premier League matches and contributing with one goal and three assists.
