Jeremy Doku makes French Ligue 1 Team-Of-The-Week

France-based attacker Jeremy Doku has been named in the French Ligue 1 Team-Of-The-Week for round 35 following a superlative display.

The Belgian-born Ghanaian forward made it to the L’Équipe Best Eleven Players of the week following his outstanding display against ESTAC Troyes.

He played 88 minutes of the match and was instrumental for the Red and Blacks outfit as they whitewashed their opponents with ease.

Arthur Theate scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game with a 14th minute strike.

The youngster was the one who set up Benjamin Bourigeaud on the 65th minute mark to score the second goal of the match to put the hosts 2-0 up.

Five minutes later, he set up Cameroonian international Karl Toko Ekambi to score the third goal of the match to make it 3-0 after 70 minutes of the match with 20 minutes to go.

The Cameroonian scored again four minutes later to make the final score 4-0.

Doku wwas substituted with two minutes to the end of the match.
