Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Saaka Dauda, the 24-year-old captain of Bofoakwa Tano after a successful medical in Kumasi.

The winger put pen to paper a 3yr deal with the Porcupines.

Saaka Dauda, a dynamic and influential midfielder, has been a revelation for Bofoakwa Tano and becomes Kotoko’s 9th acquisition this transfer window.

A native of Nalerigu, Dauda’s impressive performance saw him net 8 goals and provide 3 assists in the Ghana Premier League.

Saaka’s ability to influence the game both offensively and defensively makes him an invaluable asset.

His leadership experience, having captained Bofoakwa Tano to a memorable FA Cup final, will be instrumental in Kotoko’s quest for success.

Saaka Dauda shared his enthusiasm about joining Asante Kotoko, stating, “Joining Asante Kotoko is a dream come true for me,” he told the club’s media.

“Having led Bofoakwa Tano to the MTN FA Cup final, I am eager to bring that same level of dedication and passion to this esteemed club. I am here to work extra hard and take the team to the top. I am here to offer the best I can to see the club at the top”

“Honestly, it’s a dream come true to be here and to have the opportunity of working with Coach Ogum, whom I regard as a top coach.”
