Midfielder Prince Badu, has described his transfer move to Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko, as a proud moment for him, having signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Speaking in his first interview as a Kotoko player, Badu described the move as a major milestone in his career. He acknowledged the high expectations at the club but said the pressure only fuels his determination to succeed.

“oining Kotoko is a big moment for me. This is the biggest club in the country, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I know the expectations are high here, but that’s what motivates me as a player,” Prince Badu said.

He added, “I’m ready to work hard, learn, and give my best whenever I’m called upon. I want to help the team in any way I can and grow with the club over the next few years.”

Badu arrives at Kotoko from fellow Ghana Premier League side Nations FC and is eager to make an immediate impact. The midfielder will don the number 44 jersey as he looks to strengthen the team in the coming seasons.
