Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew has achieved a major milestone in his career after making his 300th appearance in the English Premier League.
The Black Stars captain featured as a substitute in Leicester City’s recent match against Manchester City, which ended in a 2-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
Ayew’s journey in the English top-flight began in 2015, and over the years, he has played for several clubs including Aston Villa, Swansea City, Crystal Palace, and now Leicester City. Since arriving in England, the 33-year-old has registered 41 goals and 25 assists across his 300 appearances.
His Premier League career started with Aston Villa, where he played from 2015 to 2017 before moving to Swansea City for a two-year spell. In 2019, he joined Crystal Palace, becoming a key figure in their attack and scoring important goals during his time at Selhurst Park.
Now with Leicester City, Ayew has made 26 appearances this season, scoring four goals so far.
He is expected to be in action again when Leicester City face Newcastle United on Monday night.
