Black Stars striker, Jordan Ayew has said that he is always ready to sacrifice for Crustal Palace and his teammates on and off the field.
Jordan Ayew has been a key figure for Crystal Palace in the last couple of years and despite his deficit in goals, the Ghanaian striker has remained a constant figurer for the Eagles in the Premier League.
Ayew is yet to score a goal for the Eagles in the ongoing 2023/2024 season after match day 8 but he has already won Crystal Palace’s Player of the Month of September.
Speaking ahead of Palace’s match day 9 encounter away to the Saint James Park against Newcastle United, Jordan Ayew said he is always ready to take one for the team.
“It’s something that’s part of my game,” he told the club website. “I’m an offensive player and I’m going to get fouled. I try to be a bit more direct in my game. I try to be efficient.”
“Anywhere the manager wants me to play, I’ll do a job for my team, and try to do my best,” he added.
