Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew showcased his exceptional form for Crystal Palace once again, scoring his second consecutive goal in the Premier League clash against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Ayew, retained in the Eagles’ starting lineup by new manager Oliver Glasner, found the back of the net in the 71st minute, doubling Palace’s lead after a goalless first half.
Chris Richards broke the deadlock for Palace in the 68th minute, setting the stage for Ayew’s decisive goal just three minutes later.
French international Jean-Philippe Mateta secured the victory by converting a penalty awarded to Palace in the 79th minute.
With this performance, Ayew has now accumulated four goals and six assists in 27 appearances for Crystal Palace across all competitions this season.
