Ghanaian football fans had plenty to celebrate on Monday night as the Black Stars delivered a dominant performance against Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The match, played in Morocco against Madagascar, saw Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey take center stage in an emphatic victory.

The Leicester City FC forward Jordan Ayew was in sensational form, providing a hat-trick of assists that set up Ghana’s goals in style.

His precise passing, vision, and creativity played a crucial role in dismantling Madagascar’s defense.

Ayew’s ability to read the game and link up with his teammates made him the standout playmaker of the night.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey, returning from injury, proved why he remains one of Ghana’s most influential players. The Arsenal midfielder scored twice, showing his quality with powerful strikes and well-timed runs into the box.

His presence in midfield was crucial, as he controlled the tempo and dictated play with ease.

Ghana’s early dominance saw them open the scoring in the 10th minute, with Ayew setting up the first goal with a well-placed pass. He continued his fine form by assisting two more goals, ensuring the Black Stars maintained total control throughout the game.

Partey’s brace ended his goal drought and added to the team’s commanding lead, sealing a statement win for Ghana.

This victory boosts Ghana’s chances of securing a spot in the 2026 World Cup, and the performances of Ayew and Partey will give fans plenty of optimism moving forward. Their experience, leadership, and skill were evident, proving once again why they are key players for the national team.

With this outstanding display, Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey have reaffirmed their importance to the Black Stars.

As Ghana continues its qualification campaign, the team will be looking to build on this impressive result and carry the momentum into their upcoming fixtures.
