In a social media post, WhoScored.com revealed that Jordan Ayew’s tally of 144 successful duels (aerial + ground) places him at the top of the English Premier League duels chart for the current season.
Following closely in second position is West Ham United playmaker Lucas Paqueta, who has won 133 duels.
Other notable players achieving success in winning duels in the English Premier League include João Palhinha, Bukayo Saka, and Bruno Guimarães.
Jordan Ayew, aged 32, has showcased his prowess this season by scoring one goal and providing three assists in 16 appearances in the English Premier League.
