José Mourinho has included Ghanaian teen sensation youngster Felix Ohene Afena-Gyan in AS Roma’s squad for the Europa Conference League knockout stage.
The Ghanaian youngster was not registered for the group stage at the time as he was still playing with the U19 side in the Primavera at the beginning of the season.
Former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho has added the forward after promoting him to the first team late last year after a breakthrough season with the junior team.
“With Felix, tomorrow he is a player who is not registered for the Conference League. But he is a player with qualities that we don’t really have in the squad. He’s a player who looks for opportunities that we don’t often try to exploit”, Mourinho said about the youngster in 2021.
He has played in nine for Roma and was recently adjudged by Serie A as the player who made the most runs in the league in January.
The striker together with new recruits Sergio Oliveira and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have all been included in the Roma team for Europe.
