Winger Joseph Paintsil has praised the fans in Kumasi for their support in Ghana’s 1-0 win over Angola in Group E of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers on Wednesday.
Paintsil as introduced into the game in the 75th minute as he converted the free kick which resulted in Antoine Semenyo’s goal in the 96th minute.
The Genk star who excelled in the 20 minutes he played commended the fans for being behind them.
“Thank you Ghana, thank you Kumasi , you turned up massively for us yesterday.” He tweeted on Friday
Paintsil could start on Monday in the return leg in Luanda.
