England-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Joshua Kofi Acheampong, has been included in Chelsea’s squad for their upcoming UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final first-leg match against Polish side Legia Warszawa.

The Blues will travel to Warsaw for the highly anticipated fixture, scheduled for Thursday evening, and head coach Enzo Maresca has once again shown his faith in the talented youngster by naming him in the 24-man squad.

Acheampong joins a strong defensive lineup that features the likes of Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Benoit Badiashile, highlighting the trust the coaching staff has placed in the teenage prospect.

Also making his return to the squad is Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson, who is now fit and expected to lead the attack for Chelsea.

Below is the full Chelsea squad named for the game in Warsaw:

Goalkeepers:
Lucas Bergstrom, Filip Jorgensen, Robert Sanchez

Defenders:
Josh Acheampong, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Malo Gusto, Reece James, Marc Cucurella

Midfielders:
Mathias Amougou, Moises Caicedo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Enzo Fernandez, Sam Rak-Sakyi

Forwards:
Tyrique George, Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke, Shim Mhueka, Pedro Neto, Christopher Nkunku, Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho

With Chelsea aiming for a strong performance in Poland, all eyes will be on how the young stars—like Acheampong—rise to the occasion in this crucial European tie.
