Kamaldeen Sulemana was a constant name in the headlines of french football stories at the start of the Ligue 1 season but now the Ghanaian have had to deal with injuries which have taken out of action at Stade Rennais for some time now.
Sulemana has appeared in 20 league games out of 27 of his team this season. That number could have gone up had he stayed fit.
A back injury has recently sidelined the talented winger as he has missed the last four games of his team – the most recent one being the Europa Conference League game against Leicester City on Thursday, a game Rennais lost by 2-0 at the King Power stadium with another Ghanaian player Daniel Amartey completing 90 minutes for the winners of the match.
Kamaldeen’s 2021/22 season record stands at 5 goals and 2 assists in 27 games across all competitions.
In fact in his last 14 games for club and country the former Nordjaelland player has neither scored or assisted a goal.
