Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is weighing up his future at Southampton as interest from top European clubs AS Roma, Nice, and Ajax continues to mount.
The 21-year-old’s £30million release clause has become a major sticking point, with Southampton refusing to sell unless the hefty sum is met. Despite this, other clubs have made approaches for the talented winger, including loan deals with options for a permanent transfer.
Nice previously made a bid for a loan with an obligation to buy, which was rejected by the Saints. However, the French side are not the only ones interested in Sulemana’s services, with Lille and Marseille also said to be monitoring the situation.
Sulemana made 25 Championship appearances for Southampton last season, helping the team secure promotion back to the Premier League. As his stock continues to rise, it remains to be seen whether he will remain at St Mary’s Stadium or make a high-profile move to one of Europe’s top clubs.
