Inconsistent Accra Hearts of Oak SC suffered a painful defeat to Karela United FC on Saturday afternoon in Anyinase in the Ghana Premier League.

The visitors succumbed to a late goal as they were beaten by the Pride and Passion side by a lone goal at the end of the match.

The first half ended in goalless with both teams creating a lot of openings in the first half of the entertaining match

The visitors were not dangerous enough up front and could not create a lot of opportunities in the second half.

Two minutes to the end of the five additional time period, midfielder, Omar Bashiru broke the deadlock to give the home team a hard earned 1-0 win.

Hearts will face King Faisal in Accra next Sunday whiles Karela United FC travel up north to play Real Tamale United FC.
