Stephen Akani, a young player for Karela United, has issued a warning to Hearts of Oak before their Ghana Premier League match in week 22. Despite their 3-1 loss to Bechem United, Akani played a critical role in the game.
Following their defeat, the youngster is determined to win on Saturday and gain all three points against Hearts of Oak. In an exclusive interview with Domesticsportsgh on Tuesday, he expressed his confidence in their ability to secure a win.
He stated, “We are very confident that we will take all three points at stake because here is Aiyinase, things are hard so we can’t lose this game, we need to win this game to give us confidence ahead of the remaining fixtures.”
Furthermore, Akani emphasized the importance of their supporters and urged them to support the team during the game. Karela United is presently in 14th place on the league table with 26 points, while Hearts of Oak is in fourth place with 38 points.
The Passioners will host the Phobians in week 23 of the Ghana Premier League at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Saturday.
