Ghana Premier League outfit, Karela United, appears poised to relocate their home matches to a new venue, as they unveiled their new home ground in the North East Region on Friday, February 16.
The club shared images of the newly constructed home ground, named the ‘Naa Sheriga Sports Complex,’ signaling their departure from the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, which has served as their home venue since the beginning of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Formerly based in Anyinase, Karela United’s move to the new venue in Nalerigu marks a significant development for the club as they prepare to host matches in the second round of the league campaign.
