Karim Zito, the coach of Dreams FC, has praised new Black Stars coach Chris Hughton for his dedication to scouting players in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Hughton, a former Premier League manager who recently signed a 21-month deal, has been seen at various league games to identify local talents for the national team.
The former Brighton manager has watched two Ghana Premier League games, including Great Olympics’ victory over Berekum Chelsea in Accra and Kotoko’s clash with King Faisal in Kumasi.
Zito, who is also the head coach of the Black Starlets, believes that Hughton’s attendance at Premier League games will improve the quality of the game.
“It’s a good idea and good news especially because the young lads will put in their best to attract the attention of the coach”
“What is more special than playing while you are watched by a Black Stars coach? You understand me. It will bring the best out of you which will add value to the league. It is good.” He said.
