Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito says his team is fully prepared for any challenge as they continue their impressive run in the Ghana Premier League.
He explained that every opponent gives their best when facing Kotoko, making each match a major occasion. For that reason, he has urged his players to stay focused, respect all opponents and avoid underestimating any club.
Kotoko travel to the AAK II Arena on Wednesday for their outstanding week-three fixture against Basake Holy Stars. Zito reminded his squad that the energy and excitement surrounding games involving Kotoko often motivate opponents to raise their performance levels.
He noted that their fans follow the team everywhere, creating a charged atmosphere that pushes both Kotoko players and their opponents. According to him, even players who feel unwell often insist on playing simply because the match is against Kotoko.
Kotoko remain the only unbeaten side this season, going 10 matches without defeat, and will be hoping to extend their run when they face Basake Holy Stars.
