Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC midfielder Kwame Adom Frimpong has reacted to his former teammate Mathew Anim Cudjoe’s excellent finish for Dundee United FC in the Scottish Championship game against Arbroath FC.
Adom Frimpong who recently signed for Ethiopian giant Saint George SC took to Twitter to respond to Anim Cudjoe’s tweet following his maiden goal for the Orange and Black outfit.
The 26-year-old who played with the youngster during their time at the Porcupine Warriors club encouraged the Dundee United player to keep working hard after his first goal and assist of the season.
“Keep it up my Guy”, the former Aduana Stars, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC player and a former a teammate of Anim Cudjoe wrote on social media.
The former Legon Cities FC player scored his first official goal in the Black and Orange jersey as his side secured a comprehensive 4-0 win on opening day of the 2023-24 campaign.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile player played 77 minutes of the match and bagged an assist in the first 45 minutes of the match to make sure he remains in the first team for the upcoming games in the league and league Cup competitions.
Glenn Middleton found the back of the net for his team to make it 1-0 to the away side after just 11 minutes into the game.
Anim Cudjoe chipped the goalkeeper after he was put through on goal on the 25th minute mark of the match to put the visitors 2-0 up.
He then turned provider when he set up Louis Moult to score the fourth goal on the verge of half time as Craig Sibbald scored the third on the 37th minute mark.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile player has a goal and assist in just a game for Dundee United FC as they go top of the league table with three points plus four goals.
