Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori has earned a place in Sofascore’s Slovakian Nike Liga Team of the Week following his outstanding performance in FC Spartak Trnava’s dominant 4-0 victory over FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova.
The 23-year-old was instrumental in his team’s success during the league’s round 10 fixture on Saturday at the Zelpo Arena, scoring two crucial goals to propel Trnava to an emphatic win.
Ofori opened the scoring just before halftime, slotting home from a precise pass by Czech midfielder Erik Daniel. He added a second goal in the 55th minute, this time assisted by Milos Kratochvil, as Trnava took full control of the match.
The team continued their dominance with Daniel netting a third goal in the 66th minute. Ofori was substituted in the 71st minute, making way for Robert Pich, who completed the rout with a stoppage-time goal.
This brace marked Ofori’s first goals of the 2024-25 season, bringing his tally to three goals in six appearances across all competitions. His impressive form has made him a key player for Spartak Trnava as they push for success in the Slovakian Nike Liga.
