Dutch-Ghanaian forward Kevin Brobbey was the hero for Krasava ENY after scoring the opening goal in their 2-0 victory over Spartakos Kitiou FC in the first round of the Cyprus Cup.
The match remained goalless after the first half before Brobbey broke the deadlock in the 74th minute, giving Krasava ENY the breakthrough they needed.
Luiyi de Lucas later sealed qualification with a stoppage-time goal as Krasava ENY secured a comfortable win and progressed to the next stage of the competition.
Brobbey’s strike proved crucial in a closely contested encounter, highlighting his growing importance to the team’s attacking setup.
Krasava ENY dominated possession with 56 per cent of the ball and created more clear opportunities, registering four shots on target compared to Spartakos’ two.
The forward will now look to continue his goalscoring form when Krasava ENY return to league action against Karmiotissa on October 17.
