When King Faisal defeated Asante Kotoko by 3-2 during the Ghana Premier League encounter between the two sides at the Babayara stadium, many Porcupines thought it did not really matter looking at the margin of the defeat.
However, on Wednesday, following Faisal’s 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 in Kumasi, people have began to take a second look at coach Prosper Ogum.
To lose twice to the same manager in two weeks means the other coach , Nurudeen Amadu, is superior. Two derby matches. Two wins for Amadu and he proves that he is a better tactician over the former WAFA trainer.
“We have a limited squad. The options are not too many for us. It’s not that we have targeted the FA Cup but the squad here is limited” Amadu said after the game.
Even with a limited squad he still completed the double over Asante Kotoko. Ogum may be the head coach of a bigger club but Amadu has shown why he is a level above the former.
