Kingsley Sarfo: APOEL star reacts to midfielder of the season award in Cyprus

Ghana international Kingsley Sarfo has expressed delight after winning the midfielder of the season at the Cypriot Football awards.

The APOEL Nicosia star received the award on Thursday and quickly took to Twitter post his excitement.

“Yesssss we did it again, I am very happy to be named as the best midfielder in the Cypriot Premier League. Thanks for the maximum support Apoel Nicosia fans. I love you all,” he posted in an earlier Tweet.

Sarfo then added: “Best midfielder of the season in the Cypriot First Division award in the bag.”

The 27-year-old also made the best eleven team in the league, having started the campaign at Olympiakos Nicosia before joining APOEL in February this year.

The former Malmo FF star has been in blistering form for APOEL as they challenged for the league title.

The Ghana international made 25 appearances in the 2021/22 season, proving four assists in the campaign.

Sarfo  is yet to decide if he will be returning to parent club Olympiakos Nicosia or he will extend his stay at APOEL.
