Experienced Ghanaian coach Kobina Amissah is set to take over as the new head coach of Basake Holy Stars following the departure of Johnson Smith to Nations FC.
Amissah is expected to assume the role as the club prepares for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, with management identifying him as the ideal candidate to lead the team into a new era.
The coaching vacancy arose after Johnson Smith accepted an offer to join Nations FC, bringing his spell with Basake Holy Stars to an end.
Kobina Amissah arrives with a wealth of experience in Ghanaian football, having previously managed several clubs in the domestic league. His appointment is expected to bring stability, tactical discipline and valuable experience to the Basake Holy Stars technical bench.
The club is hopeful that the experienced tactician will build on the foundation left by his predecessor and guide the team to a successful campaign in the upcoming season.
An official announcement confirming Amissah’s appointment is expected once the remaining contractual formalities have been completed.
