Hearts of Oak new recruit Konadu Yiadom, has expressed excitement after scoring his first ever goal for the Phobians against city rivals Accra Great Olympics.
The former WAFA SC captain was handed a starting berth by Manager Samuel Boadu on Sunday afternoon when the team hosted Great Olympic in the Ghana Premier League.
In a game that produced a fantastic contest, Konadu Yiadom scored with a good effort in the 88th minute to draw level for Hearst of Oak.
The lanky centre-back after the match took to social media to celebrate his maiden goal.for the FA Cup Champions.
“Great atmosphere…Happy for my debut goal but we believe we could have done better. Thank you for the love. keep believing in us,” He wrote on Facebook after the 1-1 draw with Great Olympics.
Coach Samuel Boadu and his charges, will travel to Kumasi to face bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko on matchday three.
Konadu Yiadom who was chased by Kotoko before his switch to the capital-based club would be hoping to have a brilliant game on the day when selected again to start for Hearts of Oak.
