Asante Kotoko goalkeeper’s trainer Najau Issah, has slammed Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu, describing him as unprofessional.

The two most powerful clubs in the Ghanaian domestic league played a goalless stalemate on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in an outstanding GPL week 7 fixture.

Speaking after the game, Samuel Boadu controversially said league leaders Asante Kotoko aren’t anything extraordinary in the ongoing season, claiming they can’t even beat the Phobians youth side Auroras.
His comments in the post-match interview didn’t go down well with a member of Kotoko’s technical team, Najau Issah who quickly took to his official Twitter handle for a quick reply where he described him as unprofessional. He wrote;
“I doubt his professionalism, every professional will respect your opponents and you don’t speak shit about them, we are still on top Krobea. Fabulous, we move.”
Kotoko finished the first round of the 2021/22 season at the summit of the league with 37 points.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak finished 8th position with 25 points after playing 17 games in the first round.
