Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are locked level on several key indicators after Matchday 18 of the league, underlining the tight contest between Ghana’s two most successful clubs.

Both sides have played 18 matches, recording eight wins each, seven draws apiece, and three losses, leaving them tied on 31 points at this stage of the season.

The main separation between the rivals comes in their goal statistics. Asante Kotoko have found the net 24 times, showing greater attacking output, while Hearts of Oak have scored 12 goals. Defensively, Hearts hold the advantage, having conceded just seven goals compared to Kotoko’s 11.

With the numbers so close, the race between the two giants remains wide open as the league campaign continues.
