Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC communication director, David Obeng Nyarko has disclosed
According to him, the Porcupine Warriors make ¢5m annually from their sponsorship monies alone.
He also started that the club no longer go after companies to sponsor them but are rather being chased by sponsors.
“Asante Kotoko now makes over Gh5mil cumulatively per year from our current sponsorship we have but management still needs extra funds to help finance the club.”
“When we started, we were chasing sponsors but now the situation is different”, he told Akoma FM.
Kotoko are top of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season with 30 points from 13 matches.
