Bofoakwa Tano FC top striker, Takyi Welbeck Opoku, has emerged as top transfer target of five Ghana Premier Clubs.
Giants Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC, Karela United, Ashantigold SC and newly promoted side Bibiani Gold Stars have all expressed interest in signing the deadly striker ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Welbeck, 21, contributed to 20 goals in 24 matches for Bofoakwa Tono who lost their Premier League qualification spot to Real Tamale United in Zone I.
The highly-talented striker scored 14 goals and also assisted 6 times during the 2020/21 Division One League.
He also won 2 MVP awards.
The intelligent and smart attacker who was denied his 20 goals target due to injury in the second round of the season, meanwhile, his being chased by clubs in Belgium, Estonia, Netherlands, Israel and Egypt.
