Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has celebrated a major milestone off the pitch after officially marrying his longtime girlfriend, Linda, in a beautiful wedding ceremony held over the weekend.
The colourful event brought together family members, close friends, and colleagues from the football fraternity, who gathered to witness the couple exchange vows and begin a new chapter of their lives as husband and wife.
After several years together, Antwi and Linda decided to formalise their relationship, with the ceremony reflecting joy, love, and togetherness.
The wedding comes at a time when Antwi has been sidelined from competitive action due to injury. The former Great Olympics midfielder has made just two appearances in the Ghana Premier League this season, having spent close to three weeks on the sidelines. He took advantage of the recovery period to celebrate the special occasion with his partner.
Despite his injury struggles, Antwi featured prominently for Kotoko in continental action earlier in the campaign, making four appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary rounds, although the club later bowed out of the competition.
Emmanuel Antwi joined Asante Kotoko in August 2024, signing a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2027, as he continues his journey with the two-time CAF Champions League winners.
