Legend George Kennedy has advised his former club Asante Kotoko SC to keep the core of their team for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
He stated that the Porcupine Warriors must keep all their players for their 2022-23 CAF Champions League.
He also advised the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League winners to buy more quality players to augment their team including their bench for Africa.
Speaking on Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, George Kennedy said: “Kotoko must keep majority of the team for Africa, however, we will need to strengthen the team’s attack and the central defense to put the team in proper shape for the Champions League,”
Kotoko emerged winners of the Ghana Premier League and will be Ghana’s sole representative in the CAF Champions League campaign.
Winners of the MTN FA Cup will also have the chance to play in the 2022-23 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
