“I see myself playing for the Black Stars and also making a move to Europe in the next five years” – Kotoko talisman Albert Amoa
Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has revealed his long-term career targets, setting his sights on a move to Europe and establishing himself as a regular for the Black Stars within the next five years.
The in-form forward, who was instrumental in Kotoko’s narrow 1-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea on Saturday—netting the decisive goal at Golden City Park—has also set a short-term ambition of winning the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Goal King award before making his European move.
“In the next five years, I see myself playing for the Black Stars and also making a move to Europe,” Amoah told Akoma FM.
He added that his goal-scoring ambitions will only be realized with teamwork and consistency.
“I will be very glad to win the GPL Goal King, but I know I cannot achieve that without the support of my teammates and consistent hard work in training,” he said.
Amoah played a crucial role for the Porcupine Warriors last season and is expected to be one of the key figures for the club as they push for the Ghana Premier League title in the 2025/26 campaign.
