Kurt Okraku has expressed strong confidence in the quality of Ghanaian refereeing, describing as one of the finest officials on the continent.

Speaking in an interview on Sporty FM in Accra, he stated, “We have one of the best referees on the African continent in Daniel Laryea.”

Okraku’s comments underscore the Ghana Football Association’s belief in the competence and professionalism of its match officials. He indicated that Laryea’s performances in both domestic and international competitions have demonstrated high standards of fairness, consistency, and technical understanding of the game.

The GFA President’s endorsement also reflects ongoing efforts to improve refereeing standards in Ghana through training, monitoring, and international exposure. By highlighting Laryea’s achievements, Okraku signaled that Ghana continues to make progress not only in team performance but also in officiating excellence.

His remarks serve as recognition of the role referees play in maintaining the integrity of football and promoting Ghana’s reputation within African and global competitions.
