Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari found the back of the net for AC Horsens in their 2-1 comeback win against FC Fredericia on Saturday in the Danish First Division.
Karikari’s goal, his second of the league season, was instrumental in inspiring Horsens to victory at the Monjasa Park.
The match started with Fredericia taking the lead in the 16th minute through forward Oscar Buch. However, AC Horsens fought back and equalized early in the second half. Karikari connected with a precise pass from defender Mikkel Kallesoe in the 58th minute to level the score.
Horsens completed the turnaround just two minutes before the final whistle when Emil Frederiksen struck the winning goal, sealing a hard-fought 2-1 triumph for the visitors. Karikari was substituted in the 82nd minute, making way for youngster Sanders Ngado.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian has now registered two goals and one assist in 11 league appearances this season, while also scoring once in two Landspokal Cup matches. His contributions have been crucial to AC Horsens’ campaign so far.
