Kwame Opoku slowly finding his rhythm at Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko centre forward Kwame Opoku is beginning to make his presence felt after scoring his second goal in seven matches for the club.

The striker, who returned to the Porcupine Warriors with high expectations, has shown signs of improvement as he continues to settle back into the team. His latest goal is a positive boost for both the player and Kotoko as they push for consistency in the Ghana Premier League.

While the numbers may not yet be eye-catching, Opoku’s contribution goes beyond goals. He has worked hard upfront, held up play, and created space for his teammates, helping Kotoko in their attacking build-up.

Strikers are often judged by goals, but confidence is key, and scoring again will help Opoku grow in belief. With more minutes and better understanding with his teammates, the goals are expected to come more frequently.

For Asante Kotoko, having Kwame Opoku rediscover his scoring touch could be crucial as the season progresses. If he continues on this path, the fans at Baba Yara Stadium will hope to see more goals and stronger performances from their number nine.
