Peterborough United could not maintain their slot in the Championship after failing to survive relegation.

They are currently 23rd on the log with just a game to go, only better than bottom-placed Barnsley.

United have been able to amass just 34points from 45 games and that wouldn’t be enough to keep them in the Championship next season.

Poku joined the Championship Club from League I side Colchester United before the start of the season but now on the verge of returning to the lower League again.

The Ghana International, 20, has made 20 appearances for Peterborough United this season including an FA Cup game against Manchester City.
