Former Black Stars captain and head coach, James Kwasi Appiah is set to be named as the new manager for the Sudanese national team.
Kwasi Appiah who is part of the Asante Kotoko interim management committee will sign a three year deal to become the new Sudan head coach in the coming years.
The Kotoko legend according to multiple reports will become one of the highest paid coaches on the continent when he signs the deal.
Kwasi Appiah will be reportedly paid $50,000 monthly salary which will be more than the $32,000 he was taking as the Black Stars coach.
The 63-year-old will be returning to Sundanese football after spending three years (2014-2017) as the head coach of Al Khartoum FC.
