Ghana International Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has, expressed his excitement after completing a Summer transfer move to Turkish TFF First League side Manisa Football Club on a one-year deal ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Black Stars attacker expressing his delight after signing the contract stated that: “I want to work hard and contribute to my team at the highest level.”
“I am very happy to be in Turkey and Manisa. I’m starting a new chapter in my career and I’m very excited about it. I want to work hard for the goals of Manisa Football Club and contribute to my team at the highest level.” Wriedt added.
Kwasi Okyere Wriedt, a former Bayern Munich youth star started his football career with St. Pauli’s youth team.
The experienced attacker, who scored 23 goals in 1 season for LSK Hansa and drew attention with his performance as the top scorer, transferred to German giant Bayern Munich in the 2017-2018 season. Wriedt, who was the top scorer in Bayern Munich‘s second team in the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons, last played for Holstein Kiel after Willem II and Osnabrück.
Kwasi Wriedt, who won 2 Bundesliga championships and 1 German Cup championship with Bayern Munich, scored 162 goals and 60 assists in 421 official matches in his career.
The experienced Forward has so far featured six times for the Black Stars.
