Abdul Karim Zito has been appointed as the new head coach of Ghana’s U-17 side with Laryea Kingson serving as his assistant.
Zito gets the appointment as the head of the technical after spending years with the Black Satellites which also saw with the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2021.
He takes over from Paa Kwesi Fabin who led the team during the 2022 U-17 WAFU B Championship.
However, Zito will now turn attention to developing the U-17 with former Black Stars midfielder, Laryea Kingson, providing assistance as part of changes to the technical teams.
Jacob Nettey has also been named as the second assistant coach for the Ghana U-17 side.
Jerry Asare has been drafted into the team as the goalkeepers’ trainer.
