English Premier League giant Chelsea FC have made contact with Dutch Eredivisie giant AFC Ajax Amsterdam to express interest in signing Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
According to reports in the UK, the Blues are yet to make an offer to the Red and Whites outfit as the start of the season gets closer.
The Blues have had dialogue with the player’s entourage and are keen to sign the Ghana star Kudus Mohammed despite not making any official bid yet.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian was a standout performer for Ajax Amsterdam during the 2022-23 season scoring 42 appearances in all competitions for Ajax last season.
Kudus is among a number of options Chelsea are considering and an agreement with the Ghana international on personal terms is close.
